Now that we have laid the foundation with both what inspired me and buying my first juicer, let’s focus on the Juice.

Unless you are doing a juice cleanse, drinking up to 4 x 16-20 ounce drinks per day, I started by drinking 1 liter (approx. 33.81 ounce) per day first thing in the morning. Since you get the most nutrients drinking right after juicing, if at all possible, try to drink within first 20 minutes of juicing. If you plan on making a full days worth, keep it in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator.

Mean Green Juice Recipe (Official):

1 – Cucumber

4 – Celery Stalks

2 – Green Apples

6 to 8 – Kale (Australian Tuscan Cabbage)

1/2 – Lemon

1 teaspoon – Ginger

Directions:

1. Wash wash wash your produce well

2. Peel the lemon

3. Juice starting with soft leafy plants first. Here is the order that I follow: Ginger, Kale, Celery, Cucumber, Lemon, and lastly Green Apples.

4. Pour in glass or in sealed container
